In keeping with our pioneering efforts in research at our R&D Centre at Pondicherry, LOTUS RMP Roofing Sheets was introduced by us in the year 1985 to meet the need for cost effective and high endurance roofing.
Lotus RMP Sheets are fire resistant, generally conforming to BS 476:part 3:1975 and IS 1734: Part III:1973.The sheets can replace GI and AC sheets to a large extent for use particularly in Chemical and Food Processing Industries due to their excellent resistance to almost all organic solvents,for eg.,Acid,Alkali and Salts.
The sheets are also ideal for use in hilly regions,very cold places as well as hot and humid zones due to their inherent property of ultra violet light and converting it into thermal energy,and functioning as heat isolation agents.Thus the place is kept warmer in winter and cooler in summer.
The product has been extensively tested at various recognised laboratories in India and abroad including Structural Engineering Research Center(CSIR), Central Building Research Institute(CBRI), Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology(CIPET),Electrical Inspectorate of the Government of Kerala etc., and certified for all types of roofing applications in India.

LOTUS OPAQUE
LOTUS Opaque Corrugated Roofing Sheets are distinguished by their attractie colours and smooth finish on both sides.Their unique resistance to weathering render them the ideal matertial for decorative and tough roofing applications.
As standalone competetive building material for demanding construction and industrial purposes, Lotus Opaque Roofing Sheets offer a total saving of 10% in the overall construction cost of an industrial structure as compared to AC Sheets.

LOTUS DAYLITE
DAYLITE is the latest introduction from LOTUS. Incorporating the best of imported and Indian raw matetials, these translucent sheets possess high UV stability, heat distortion resistance and fire retardent properties. Allowing 45-50% transparency, the sheets create an ambient atmosphere by filtering natural sunlight. The sheets are flexible, light weight and impermeable, thus allowing significant savings in structural cost. With high tensile and fracture strength, the sheets are rust,rodent and termite proof.
As a superior alternative to fibre glass sheets, which are usually handmade,breakable and of incosistent quality, DAYLITE has high impact resistance and load bearing capacity.

LOTUS Panel Art Sheets combine economy, light weight, high tensile strength, fire resistance, corrosion reistance and weather resistance properties for both outdoor and indoor applications. LOTUS Panel Art Sheets in convenient sizes are available in pleasing colours for a wide range of applications like False Ceiling, Partition, Wall Cladding, Door Skins for Bathroom and Balcony Doors etc.

When mounted beneath purlins as false ceiling for conventional roofing sheets to cover a large area, Lotus Panel Art sheets are cost effective and much superior as compared to any other false ceiling product in the market. While drastically reducing heat radiation from above, Lotus Panel Art sheets as false ceiling, have superior weather resistance and high strength to weight ratio as compared to mineral wool or wood panel products. Moreover unlike wood based materials LOTUS Panel Art is fire-retardent in as much as it is self extinguishing.
